Interested in the intersection of law and international/cultural studies, immigration law, or public interest law? Come learn from experts in the field!

3:30-4:30pm – Nicole Hallett (bio), Clinical Professor of Law at the University of Chicago and Director of the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic, will speak about her experience in the legal field and share insight from her new book, Becoming a Public Interest Lawyer.
4:30-5:30pm – The UW-Madison Center for DREAMers will present an overview of their work in the Madison community, and lead an activity to help students think critically about the skills required for a career in immigration law through the lens of DACAmented and undocumented immigrants in Wisconsin. Light refreshments will be provided during the discussion portion of this event. Space for this event is limited – register on Handshake to save your spot!
