What I Wish I Woulda Known (before starting law school)

It would’ve been great to know before I started law school that the entirety of all the knowledge I would accumulate throughout the course of an entire semester–that’s nearly four months worth–would be assessed in just ONE exam. Yes, it’s true (for most law schools).

Few law school professors give regular papers, quizzes, mid-terms, or the like. The majority give their students one exam at the end of each semester to test their students’ competence.

What would I have done differently had I known this before going to law school? Well, in reflection of this question… probably nothing, truthfully. It is what it is. But, it would have just been nice to know up front rather than hearing it for the first time when the professor announced it the first day of first class. Of course, I would’ve still gone on to law school, regardless.
